Nursery and Children's Worship

 

NURSERY

Our NURSERY is available during Connection Classes at 9:00 AM and the worship service (10:30) for children, ages, two and under.  We take pride in providing a safe, caring environment for your child, and we look forward to meeting and serving them!

PRE-SCHOOL CONNECTION

We also offer classes for children ages 2-5 as part of the connection hour.  We use a curriculum from Desiring God, developed by John Piper.

CHILDREN'S WORSHIP

We encourage families to attend public worship together.  Part-way through the worship service, we dismiss children, ages 3 - second grade for CHILDREN'S WORSHIP, where they will learn more about how to worship God in a more age-appropriate way.

PARENTING IN THE PEW Booklet

We have a booklet that explains why we believe worshipping together as a family is important.  Please ask for one. Because of this commitment, we all need to be patient with our younger children as they learn how to worship with the rest of the family.  It takes time for young children to learn to sit patiently and quietly for 25 minutes. Consequently, our services may be a little noisier and active than other churches where younger children are not present.  We gladly accept this as the price we pay to teach our children to love and worship God.
