High School Hike Day

Attention all high schoolers: Join us as we take to the trails on Saturday, November 11 at Turkey Run State Park!

We'll meet at Christ Community at 9am that morning and drive to Turkey Run. Students will need to bring a water bottle and appropriate clothing, including shoes that are good for hiking (and might get wet). There are a variety of trails we can climb, including some that are classified as "very rugged," and may include ladders that must be climbed in order to progress forward. After we hike for a bit, we'll head back to the shelter for some lunch, which is provided. Then, depending on how the group is feeling, we might tackle another trail or throw a frisbee around or just explore the park. We will plan on being back at Christ Community by 3:30pm.

All students need to have a 2023-2024 Medical Release Form on file with us. There is also a limit of 13 students that can come, so sign up (and get your friends to sign up) quickly!
