Communicants Class

Christ Community Kids and Students is offering a six-session Communicants Class that will meet on Sunday mornings in late July and August from 9-10am (we will not meet on July 25). At least one parent is asked to attend.

The Communicants Class is designed with a few purposes in mind:

• Guide parents and students in evaluating whether a student has already accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and King, or are moving towards a place of doing so.
• Equip students to articulate the Gospel, understand its importance in their day-to-day lives, and grow in their desire to live in light of this truth.
• Teach students the importance of baptism, communion, and church membership.
• Prepare students for their membership conversation with elders. This would take place at the end of the Communicants Class if the teachers, parents, and student agrees they are ready.
